The Moroccan city of Marrakech welcomed FIFA’s institutional partners and the title partner of the FIFA Club World Cup Morocco 2013 presented by TOYOTA on Tuesday, for the first marketing workshop co-organised by FIFA and the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the FIFA Club World Cup Morocco 2013.
FIFA and the LOC presented the structure of the tournament to the partners as well as the marketing programme, promotional plan and commercial strategy (ticketing and hospitality) for the event.
The sponsors were also given guided tours of the Grands Stades of Marrakech and Agadir, which will host the competition’s eight matches between 11 and 21 December 2013.
The visits gave them the opportunity to enquire about visibility options and the many advantages open to their respective brands at this year’s FIFA Club World Cup.
A second workshop will be organised for national supporters when the draw for the competition takes place in early October.
