“Guangzhou are a technically strong side and they made it very difficult for us today. They showed they were deserved winners of the Asian Champions League. We found it difficult to get the defeat in the semi-final out of our system, but the players showed a lot of heart. We didn’t want to disappoint our fans again and we were determined to finish third. We started the game well but then conceded two frustrating goals. Still, my team bounced back very well.” Cuca, Atletico Mineiro coach
