Am I eligible to enter?
The FIFA/FIFPro World XI Predictor contest (the “Contest”) is only open to FIFA.com Club Members. Entrants need not be of a minimum age to enter. All FIFA.com Club Members must however agree to the terms and conditions of the Contest (located here) in order to be eligible to enter.
What are the Rules of the FIFA/FIFPro World XI Predictor?
The Contest shall run from 19 November 2012 until 12:00 midday (CET) on 4 January 2013. You will only be able to access the game online during the aforementioned Contest dates. You will not be able to enter the Contest after 12:00 midday (CET) on 4 January 2013.
In order to participate in the Contest, you must:
- read and, if agreeable to you, accept the Terms and Conditions of the Contest
- register for the Contest online here.
Entrants will be required to select eleven (11) players (each entry must consists of one (1) goalkeeper, four (4) defenders, three (3) midfielders and three (3) forwards) whom they think will be selected for the official 2012 FIFA/FIFPro World XI. Such players must be selected from the official shortlist of fifty-five (55) players which will be made available to all entrants as of 29 November 2012 (the “Shortlist”). You may select players for your team prior to 29 November 2012. Entrants will suffer no disadvantage if they amend their team following the release of the full Shortlist.
Only those FIFA.com Club Members who correctly predict all eleven (11) players of the official 2012 FIFA/FIFPro World XI team (“Eligible Entries”) will be eligible for the randomly selected prize draw.
Only one (1) entry per FIFA.com Club Member.
One (1) lucky winner will be drawn at random from all Eligible Entries.
The Contest is available on FIFA.com in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Arabic and German languages.
The winner will be required to provide a mailing address which will be used for prize distribution. In the event it is determined that the winner has not:
- complied with these official Contest rules and the Contest terms and conditions (as referenced above);
- has failed to execute and return any required documents within the specified time period;
- has made false statements; or
- a prize notification is returned as undeliverable
then the winner will be disqualified. Consequently, and at FIFA's sole discretion, another Club Member, randomly selected from the Eligible Entries, will be awarded the prize.
What is the prize?
One (1) winner, selected at random from the Eligible Entries, will be the lucky recipient of an exclusive FIFA/FIFPro adidas jersey signed by several of the 2012 FIFA/FIFPro World XI players!
How will I know if I've won?
FIFA.com will hold the prize draw shortly after the official announcement of the FIFA/FIFPro World XI at the FIFA Ballon d'Or 2012 Gala. The winner will be announced on FIFA.com after 8 January 2013. The winner will be contacted by FIFA via email.
