Goal Programme - St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association - 2003

The tiny island nation of St. Kitts & Nevis is passionate about football, so the national association can count upon the support and the goodwill of the people. Although the national association has not enjoyed much success in the international arena, work continues apace on developing football in the country. Work concentrates on youth football, as people are aware that footballing success is always based upon youth development work.

The initial draft of the project in May 2003 was for a national training centre with pitches, accommodation, offices and conference rooms. After several delays, the project was revised to include administrative and operational headquarters for the association, providing it with facilities of its own for the very first time. The Goal Bureau gave the green light for the centre to be built at the end of 2006. On 19 July 2008,. the "House of Football" was inaugurated.
