Football in Grenada

The Goal Project
The technical centre with two playing pitches in Seamoon, which was built with the help of Goal, will provide Grenadian football with a long sought-after home. Construction work is still underway, but is due to be completed shortly. The land for the centre was donated by the government. When construction is complete, the complex will provide national teams at various levels with ideal conditions to prepare for international matches. The new premises will also hold courses as part of the association's various youth programmes and training initiatives. «This new complex means that our youngsters and international players will no longer have to share state training pitches with sportsmen and women from other disciplines,» commented the Grenada FA's General Secretary about the imminent improvements to the football infrastructure on the Caribbean island.
