Following two years of planning, the Cayman Islands
Football Association submitted plans for a national training centre, which were approved by the Goal Bureau on 22 September 2004. The centre was built in several phases, starting with the construction of accommodation for national teams. This complex provides the various national teams with ideal conditions in which to prepare for international matches. It plays host to various courses organised as part of the association's development and football promotion programmes and to training sessions for the country's most talented young footballers in all age categories.
