After lengthy evaluation, the Bermuda Football Association submitted plans to lay an artificial turf pitch, which gained approval from the Goal Bureau on 22 September 2004. The new pitch will supplement existing facilities, allowing the association to run its development programmes all-year round and providing a valuable training resource for national teams whenever required. Construction work is due to begin early next year and is expected to last for four months.
