The FIFA Fair Play Award is given to the team with the best record of fair play according to a points system and criteria established by the FIFA Committee for Fair Play and Social Responsibility, at every FIFA competition.
FIFA awards the team that wins the fair play contest a trophy, medals and a diploma, all of which the team can keep permanently. The team also receives a voucher valued at USD 10,000, which will be exchanged for a supply of adidas equipment to be used exclusively for youth team development in their country.
Annual FIFA Fair Play Award
FIFA traditionally bestows a prestigious annual
Fair Play Award upon an individual or a group who have greatly
contributed to the promotion of fair play in football.
The names of the candidates for such recognition are presented by the six confederations. The FIFA Committee for Fair Play and Social Responsibility then selects the final recipient.
The annual FIFA Fair Play Award is presented at the FIFA World Player Gala.
