FIFA President to visit Jordan, Palestine, Israel

FIFA President Blatter will, on Sunday 25 May 2014, embark on a visit to Jordan, Palestine and Israel.

The journey will begin in Jordan on Monday 26 May with a meeting with FIFA Vice President H.R.H. Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein and the Jordan FA Board before moving on to Ramallah, Palestine. There, FIFA President Blatter will have lunch with President of Palestine, H.E. Mahmoud Abbas, before taking part in a press conference with President Abbas, H.R.H Prince Ali and General Jibril Rajoub. While in Ramallah, the FIFA President will attend the 'International Award of Excellence and Creativity' ceremony. FIFA President Blatter will then be joined by Father Ibrahim Faltas, from the John Paul II Foundation, for the Jawwal Professional League champions ceremony.

The next day, the FIFA President will depart for Israel, where he will conduct a meeting with the Israel Football Association (IFA), followed by an official lunch with the IFA. FIFA President Blatter will then meet with the Prime Minister of Israel, H.E. Benjamin Netanyahu, followed by a press conference.
