Football means planning to achieve goals, challenges, excitement and tenacity

Which football club did you support as a child?
Al Masry, Port Said who I played with from a young age up until the first team. Internationally, Real Madrid.

Did you ever have an idol in football?
Franz Beckenbauer

What is your fondest footballing memory?
When Egypt won the CAF Africa Cup of Nations in 2006, plus the next two tournament victories in 2008 and 2010. Many of these players were my boys when I started over 14 years ago.

What has been your biggest disappointment in football?
Suffering an injury which forced me to stop playing.
When Egypt failed to host the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
