At the turn of every calendar year, FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter sends his best wishes to all members of the football family, connected with hope that our game will have a more stable future based on fair play and mutual understanding.

In this year's letter, the President looks back on the highlights of 2006 and looks ahead on an eventful 2007 with many interesting tournaments as well as the FIFA Congress in Zurich.
