FIFA President Blatter has written a letter to the Presidents of the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (N/FSBiH), Croatian Football Federation (HNS), Romanian Football Federation (FRF) and the Football Federation of Serbia (FSS) expressing his sympathy for the people of their countries as a result of recent severe flooding.
"On behalf of the global football community, I would like to express my sympathy for the critical situation that your countries are enduring as a result of the serious flooding, and my solidarity with all those affected by this disaster," President Blatter said in a letter to N/FSBiH President Elvedin Begić, HNS President Davor Suker, FRF President Razvan Burleanu and FSS President Tomislav Karadzic.
President Blatter was scheduled to travel to Sarajevo to attend an event organised by the International League of Humanists but the extreme flooding has forced him to postpone the trip.
The FIFA President concluded his letter by saying: "At FIFA we are thinking of the Bosnian, Croatian, Romanian and Serbian people at this difficult time. Rest assured that we are standing by to provide any assistance you may require."
