Today sees the launch of the new FIFA magazine, which aims to meet the growing need for up-to-date information and insights into the world of football. The new publication, which will report on the latest events in international football, is called The FIFA Weekly.
FIFA is taking its efforts to ensure transparency a step further and is hoping to trigger debates and improve understanding of its work and competencies with this weekly magazine, published in all four FIFA languages: German, English, Spanish and French. The FIFA Weekly targets both member associations and the general public, inviting them to discuss the various issues.
The first issue of The FIFA Weekly, which features a photo of Bobby Moore on the cover, includes a special report on the 150th anniversary of The Football Association. The FIFA Weekly is replacing the monthly magazine FIFA World, which was discontinued after the September/October 2013 issue, and will appear every Friday in digital form.
