Boban, Siem join FIFA President Gianni Infantino's team

Former Croatian international Zvonimir Boban and former Norwegian Football Association Secretary General Kjetil Siem have today been announced as the newest members of FIFA President Gianni Infantino's office.

Boban, the legendary former Croatia and AC Milan midfielder, has been appointed as special advisor on football matters. Boban has been up to a lot since since finishing his playing career. He has a masters degree in history and is currently getting his doctorate in comparative literature in Zagreb. Aside from that, he writes for Croatian newspaper SN (Sportske Novosti) and writes columns and football articles for Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport. He's also been in front of the camera working as a football analyst for Sky TV in Italy.

Siem has also joined the president's office, being in charge of strategic matters. He has worked as the secretary general of Norway's FA for the past four years, and had experienced running the Premier Soccer League in South Africa in the past.
