As a solicitor, I was a professional providing service to banks, and my door was always open to the public.
I played for several clubs, particularly in my home city. I also founded the Clasicos 16 club, which just celebrated its 50 th anniversary (November 2007).

It's my life. I've always been crazy about the game in general.
Which football club did you support as a child?
In my country, Comunicaciones and Jalapa, and the national team of course.
Did you ever have an idol in football?
Pele, Pele and Pele. But I also loved Di Stefano, Zidane, Garrincha and Maradona.
What is your fondest footballing memory?
The day I became top scorer for my club, Clasicos 16. They're from my hometown of Jalapa, and I've supported them all my life.
What has been your biggest disappointment in football?
Nothing, because even as a director, I've always believed you get back what you put in.
